Terms of Service

1. Terms of Use

Welcome to the website of The Meat Cartel. By accessing this website, placing orders for pickup (Click & Collect), or using our links for third-party delivery services (DoorDash), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Weight-Based Cuts & Pricing

Please note that fresh meat cuts are prepared by hand by our master butchers and cannot be portioned to exact grammatical weights. Therefore:

  • Cuts listed on the website (e.g. ~500g, ~1.0kg) are approximate weights.
  • All prices listed are subject to change without notice due to seasonal agricultural market rates.
  • In-store transaction pricing is final, and any weight variations will be reconciled at the butchery counter for pickup orders.

3. Click & Collect Fulfillments

Click & Collect orders are prepared at our Ropes Crossing store location. We hold Click & Collect orders in commercial cool rooms for the selected time window. Since meat is a perishable produce product, orders not collected within 24 hours of the scheduled time window may be discarded, and refunds will be handled at our discretion.

4. Delivery & Third-Party Services

Delivery services are dispatched via third-party operators (including DoorDash). By choosing delivery, you agree to the delivery carrier's transit terms. We prepare and secure the cuts in specialized chilled/insulated bags with ice packs, but we are not liable for delays, handling damages, or temperature issues occurring once the shipment has been picked up by the courier.

5. Halal Certification & Compliance

We guarantee that all meats supplied through our butchery are 100% Halal certified and prepared under NSW Food Safety Standards. Our operations comply with Australian Food Meat Laws (FSANZ Standard 4.2.3) and the NSW Food Authority (Food Regulation 2015).

6. Website Development Attribution

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
